(The College Board) By Aaron Lemon-Strauss, Executive Director, The College Board–
I mentioned earlier that we’d be releasing the May SAT as a fifth practice test at the time of May scores release, and that we’d continue to produce additional practice tests based on released forms going forward.
There is a slight hitch in the release timing for May because of an unscored item that needs to be replaced. For actual May testers the item won’t impact them (since it isn’t scored), but since we want to make sure that students who use the exam in the future get a full set of questions, we’re adding in a new item and going through the full form-certification process. That means that we won’t be able to publish the May form as practice test #5 when May scores come back soon. It’ll take us an extra couple of weeks. I’ll let you know when I have an actual date, but figure mid-July.
Let me know if you have any questions. We’ll post practice test #5 on our website with the other tests, on Khan Academy, and include it in the next edition of The Official SAT Study Guide.
