Formerly a Math and Actuarial Sciences student I did all math courses up until advanced math where the veracity of all that had been learned previously is directly challenged and students realize the previous courses are just the tip of the iceberg for what mathematics really entail. During that time, my lowest grade on a math course was a B+ in MVC4U calculus and vectors.
Having this background I’ve been able to provide tutoring services for numerous university students as well as for a few high school and middle school students.
It is something I personally enjoy, my tutoring sessions are full of insight about the importance of math in self-development and life. Also about how math became what it is today according to history. These and a few other things that answer the self-defeating and ubiquitous question of “What is the point of all this?”
 
The process will be a continous analysis-teaching-and-review cycle technique which will give the student those fundamental pillars that make up the rules of math in any course so that in a relatively short time, the student becomes confident on his ability to solve problems, and finally becomes independent from the tutor forever (This is always my goal for the students I get to tutor).
