We are recruiting for an established tutoring center located in Sorrento Valley, San Diego looking for an energetic and upbeat person to serve as our office receptionist and administrative assistant.

This position is responsible for ensuring the operations run smoothly, and that our clients have a great experience at every point of contact.

Part Time Office Administrator 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Represent the brand professionally
  • Greet and welcome clients and guide them appropriately
  • Gather paperwork info from clients
  • Maintain calendar, scheduling and appointment reminders
  • Respond to initial inquiries and schedule students for diagnostic tests
  • Responding to client inquiries by email and telephone
  • Prepare and set up and run practice/diagnostic tests
  • Schedule meetings with prospective students after diagnostic scores are received
  • Assist with email blasts or other marketing support
  • Ensure office is running smoothly – from ordering supplies to tidying up
  • Grade tests
  • Carry out other assigned projects as directed.

Qualifications/Expectations:

  • At least 2 years of front desk experience is preferred.
  • Polished and professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Proactive in service — not reactive. Capable of anticipating need of clients.
  • Strong organization and multitasking skills.
  • Team player
  • This is part-time position
  • Flexible hours: 10 AM to 6 PM Monday-Friday.
